This has included analyzing markets for new development, monitoring competition, planning and coordinating advertising promotions and special events, maintaining positive customer relations, and developing promotional strategies. Skilled in prospecting and in generating new business with strong closing abilities.

Professional Experience:

Formed a full service travel company with assistance of a national franchise chain.
Became a Regional President for the franchise chain in assisting in developing new store front travel franchises in Illinois. Responsibilities include complete start up assistance and training, marketing support and technical assistance.
Continual development of software to aid in the efficiency of travel related sales and back office accounting.
Primary visionary for development of the only web based travel booking site in an area of over 1,000,000 population.
Continued development and enhancements of the local agency website resulted in a new functional concept, Private Labeled Site (PLS). The potential for this concept resulted in the formation of a new company, WebPLS Inc. The new company will be focused primarily on the continual enhancements for the PLS Projects. This technology utilizes a "foundation" from which fully interactive PLS websites can be developed in a matter of minutes. This technology will be available to the travel agencies as well as to the small- to mid-size business sector.

Derek M Wickersham - Chief Technical Officer

Derek has several years of experience working with private and public companies in web application development. Derek has helped develop DCDT Enterprises, Inc, d.b.a. Travel Network - Morton into as local leader in on-line travel booking tools. In addition, Derek has a background of working with a Fortune 100 manufacturing company as a web developer and application manager. Derek is skilled in programming as well as site design, development, consultation, and management. In addition to being a Cold Fusion programming language specialist, Derek also is experienced in several Web-related technologies, including Java, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, Linux, Verity Search Engines and XML. At WebPLS, Inc. Derek is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of development, functionality, customer usage evaluation, and deployment.

Derek's professional experience includes the development and management of a number of strategic projects for a Fortune 100 company, including critical web applications used by facilities around the globe. Derek holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Illinois.
